The reason why the filter paper does not fit is that the filter paper is placed in the wrong position, so some parts of it cannot find an adsorbable point after being wetted by water, and finally it will stand out. Therefore, if we want the filter paper to fit the filter cup, we only need to put it in the correct position before wetting it! And pressing is an action to help us find the correct position and make the filter paper fit perfectly!
The specific method is: when placing the filter paper, we use two fingers to press the filter paper on both sides to move the filter paper down.
